King Kong

I just watched this movie today. It is a great movie, I recommend you to watch it now :D.
In fact, the first version of King Kong was made in 1933. At that time, people did not have needed techniques to create beautiful effects. But King Kong was become famous ever since because the effects in movie was unbelievable (in 1933). In 1976, a director remade it. And finally was the 2005 version, the movie that I watched.
King Kong is a stories about a giant monster lived in a unknown island in the Indian Ocean. A group of people come to this island intend to make a movie. The tribe lives in the island captured a beautiful girl in group and sacrificed to King Kong. However, Kong doesn't kill the girl. On the contrary, it likes that girl and try to do everything to keep her with him. Jack is the lover of Ann (the beautiful girl that King Kong loves). He helps Ann escape from King Kong. When Kong try to catch Ann, a director named Carl captures it and bring to the city.
Kong escapes and go around the city to find Ann. Military then use weapons to shoot down Kong. Kong climb the highest tower in the city. But then, he is shot and killed by aircraft.
The famous statement you see when watching this movie is: "It was beauty killed the beast".

Seagames - final match of men football

I just watched the final match of men football of 25th Seagames. It was the match between two teams from my country Vietnam and other Asian country Malaysia. During the first half, there was no big surprise happening to two teams. Vietnamese team played quite well in the first half and many people believed our team would win against Malaysia again (We had defeated Malaysia before). But I could not ensure about this anymore when the second half began. Malaysia had more chance and they were totally control the match. Although Vietnamese team also had some big chance for a goal, but they could not turn it into a goal. What would be would be. After a minute of mistake, Malaysian team had goal. It was at 86th minute. All players of Vietnamese team then tried hard to shoot into other opponent's goal, but they could not do that. We, Vietnamese football team had once again lost the highest award of football in South West Asian area....

Let's get back that award next 2 years.....

A call from unknown woman

Today was another normal day if there was no that call.
After having a lunch, I went to supermarket to buy something. On the way to supermarket, I received a call from unknown number. I remembered it looked like "081000...". I was a little surprise but I thought it was from my uncle or my ant. But unexpectedly, I heard a female voice: "Chien Tran Xuan?.....". Oh my god, what was going on? I thought. She asked me whether my name was "Chien Tran Xuan". I said "Yes". But I could not hear her voice well because I was on the street, many cars were going by. I said to her: "Oh, I am on the street right now, so I can not talk to you". And she said: "OK, I'll call you later, thank you". I said "Thank you". The call ended there. Maybe you think this is just a normal call. However, the special thing here is: She is not Vietnamese. She spoke in English just like a broadcast on CNN. Oh my god.
Hopefully she will call me again...

When you register an account at facebook, you will become a member of this network. And then, you can connect with other people in Facebook. Facebook is more and more becoming popular today. But some countries restrict people go to this website because they are afraid of people getting bad info from unknown source. Is this happening in our country, Vietnam?

The Power of Reading

This lesson I got from AJ Hoge, director of Effortless English system. In the lesson, AJ talked about how to improve vocabulary, grammar and other things just by reading English stories. But not every stories can be appropriate to you for listening. Only easy stories - the stories that you can understand most of the words when reading - is good for reading. When you read an easy stories, for example, you understand the general meaning. So if you see a new word, you probably can guess its meaning. Remember one thing: "Don't use dictionary when reading English books like these". Dictionary will make your brain feel more reliable on it. If you cannot guess it meaning, just ignore it.
Moreover, you can also learn English grammar just by reading English books. Months ago, I read a article on the Internet. On the article, they said about learning English by right input, and learning English subconsciously. Your brain will feel less stress and learn more effectively. English grammar is one of the terrible things that learners meet when they start learning English. There are hundreds of rules you need to remember. It is likely to be impossible to remember all of that and use it correctly.
Research showed that reading English frequently is the effective way to learn English. And it is more effective than learning English at school (with textbooks, grammar, test...)

So, why you are still using old, traditional method for learning English. Change the way you learn and make a big success.

You can do more than you think

Many times in your life you will want to have a graceful, happy life without any unexpected things happening. But the truth is if you think like that, you will not make any huge progress in your life. Life is a chain of events happening consciously or accidentally. You can see that all successful people made something that totally change their life to another direction. Bill Gates is an example. He left Harvard school to do his own business (Of course, You don't need to do like Bill Gates :D). And then he completely changed the world. Today, 90% PC used Microsoft Windows.
This story is one of hundred of successful stories I read before. Perhaps I will do something crazy (not too much) to have more power to learn and work. My daily life currently is quite good, but it does not what I really want. Let's see what I can do in the future....

My life is good but I want to make it better

ISAS report

Today, I went to NIIT Center to present my ISAS report. It was quite successful, although I prepared this report for just 1 week.
My report was about CDMA technology. At first, I had difficulty finding information for supporting my report. But I was lucky when catching a useful website with enough information for what I needed. I did not know why, but at that time, I have problem with some projects. Laziness was the reason. I thought I would do it tomorrow. But the next day, I still did not do anything to make it better. Luckily, I concentrated on my report the last few days before presenting it. Oh, how lazy I was...
In my class at NIIT, I met another guy who was born also in Quang Ngai. He is really good. I thought he would be a great IT engineer in the future through his report. He must have prepared his presentation for a long time. His presentation was attractive and understandable, though there were some tiny mistakes in his voice. I thought I could make a good relationship with him.....
And then, I went to AJ's forum at: http://effortlessenglishforums.com to read some new posts today. Eventually, I read Tien's diary at a topic in the forum. It was a 7 page topic, so I didn't read all of it. But it made me understand more about a person I know. She is Vietnamese but lives in another country. And what she wrote in the forum was so interesting. Oh, I felt much more energy....

Life is good when you think it is good

My goals for next year

Today, I realize that I should do something to motivate me to work again. It seems like I have been lost my direction recently. I don't know what to do in my day, I feel empty. I don't want this happen frequently. So I try to remember what I have learned from the books I read before. And, as usual, they always tell me to write down everything you want to achieve, it will help you keep you in the right direction.
And here are the things I want to do next year:
1. Getting the best result at school (try to be number one)
2. Beginning to programming a small game
3. Learning English more and more (improve writing and speaking skill)
4. Studying in talent bachelor
5. Identifying the final goal for my life (still searching)

......
Maybe I will add more information when I think more, this is just the first thought.

Two days with motivation

The last Saturday and Sunday were very great. We, iBoys team, won in semi-final round of ITICup with greatest score, 333 for first round and 451 for the semi-final round. I think I chose the right members. Next week, the final round will take place. I hope our team will get high score like first two round.

Normal Day

It is not a normal day today. I went to NIIT center this afternoon and got my learning books. It is exciting when getting something new to study. And beside that, I also have more money (You may wonder how, but it is secret, ^_^).
Everyday is a normal day, but it'll always have something happen to you. Just let it happen, that is life.

I didn't keep my promise

When Club informed about Halloween party, I felt so much energy. I invited my friends to join and of course, we were the first group registering to this program.
Unfortunately, I didn't have enough confidence as well as preparation for big event like this. And I decided to quit at the last time.
Club criticized me, and I felt really bad. I hope the next time when I am gonna join an event, I should think carefully before making decision.

Doing it right now!

Do you have something to do? Are you going to do it now or just put it there until tomorrow. In my life, and in your life, we have many thing to do, a lot. But, we often don't finish it immediately. That's why we waste a lot of time in our life. We need a strong rule to ensure that everything will be done in the right time. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ANY MORE. You no longer have more time to waste. Just do it. You will succeed.

How can you be perfect? This is what you should know

How can you be perfect? It is a big question. But today, I want to share my answer with you. It is very simple: "You will never be perfect", ^_^. That's it. No one in the world can be perfect, they will make mistakes. And you are the one who will make mistakes. However, is it bad? The answer is "NO". Famous people in the world made mistakes and they learned from their mistakes. After making a mistake, don't be so angry to it. You must get the experiences from mistakes. One sleepless night

Last night, I stayed in hospital with my brother and my sister. It is a hard time when I must stay out and find place to sleep. But I couldn't find it. Finally, I choose a rock coach and lied down on it

What is your goal in life?

Do you want to become rich? Or you want to have a high education? I want both, ^_^. Maybe it is impossible, but I think if I try my best to do everything with all energy, I will succeed. Don't think so much about money, just concentrate on your work and money will come to you. I hope this is true.
I want to tell you all my number one goal: Success. But what is success? I know that success is not some you can achieve, success is a journey on which you can achieve many goal.

I wish everyone has love. They can find their true love in life. No sorrow, no regretting. I wish to see big smiles on their face when I see them. I don't want to see sad scene. My family, my friends, just smile. Don't think about others. This life is so wonderful. We will see smile when we smile first.
You feel boring, you have difficulty, you meet problem. Don't be mad, just smile, they can help you more than you can imagine.
I always wish that I can see every one laughing, smiling happily. And I will feel happy too.

Getting better

It has been 2 days when I was sick. It is definitely not comfortable. My head is still buzzing. I cannot go out much because I may become ill again. I hope I will have a good night. I can't sleep well yesterday.

Being sick

Waking up and feeling so tired. I think I am sick now. I can move my hand or my leg a little. They are so heavy now. One my friend is also sick. What can I do now, I need my strength back. This afternoon, my friend will wait for me to get my Flash Disk. Please help me.

You can learn faster if you know how to use your brain. Your brain is a super machine, it can do more than you can imagine. I searched on the Internet and saw very much information about this topic. And I am also downloading one Accelerated Learning lesson from the Internet while typing this sentence. This information is not new to me. But it triggers me again to have passion to learn.

Late posting

Now is 10:25pm. It is a little soon for me to go to bed. My friends are playing Video games. I'm studying English with AJ's method. Tomorrow is a busy day, I guess. It seems I am doing something that don't take me to my future. I must concentrate on everything, every details.
Today, one person told me: "If you do your work by heart, the money will automatically come to you, if you just think about money, you will never have enough."

Time management

Have you ever scheduled your time. Today, I read a famous book again, its name is "I am gifted, so are you". It tells a story of a person who has become one of the richest people in Singapore, his name is Adam Khoo. I love this book and be continuing to follow what it tell me to succeed. And I read one thing that I think is the most important. That is: you must manage your time wisely, don't waste your time. And remember to schedule all thing you need to do every day, every month, every year. That will help you not only have more time to study but also feel more relaxed.
Am I doing something right or wasting my time. OK, I stop here.

A unplanned morning

Today is the first day of the week. I feel quite relaxed but a little confused and boring. What am I doing? Am I doing something that waste my time. I need to schedule all the thing I should do and then follow it. Maybe it will help me be easier.
This morning, I studied English (in fact, just visit Effortless English forum and read and post.). Now, I must do several task to finish my work.
First thing I should do is to learn Business Management. It is pretty boring indeed.

Register Viettel account

What is the problem with my phone service provider. Today is the last day I can call with my SIM. I don't know why it block both direction (call and listen). Maybe they want me to register this account. Oh, I must go to a Viettel Agent. It is not near any way. Please don't call me this time, I'm trying my best to fix this problem.
Ah, I've just gotten a happy news from my friend (the one I talked to you before with Nokia N97). He will get his prize next day. Maybe we must celebrate a party. :D

The difficulty problem

Oh, it is so hard. I'm studying Delegates and Events in C#/.NET. I don't know why I can't understand it though I read it over and over again many times. It confuses my mind. Maybe I need some relaxes. I'm going to make a big, important decision in my study at school. When I passed national exam in 2008, I chose Software Engineering as my future career. But now, it has changed a little bit, I intend to study Computer Science. Hope that it will be more good for me. I don't want to waste my time and my energy.

My friend's story. Funny or Sad

I have a friend. He is studying in same school as me. One day, he joined a contest online and he won 1 the SmartPhone Nokia N97. Unfortunately, when he checked his email's inbox, the congratulations letter said: "Deadline: Sep 15th", while the date he saw this mail is Sep 16th. Oh, we at first can not believe that he won, and then can not believe that he was so unlucky. What a pity. Hope that he can contact with Organizer soon and will get his award.

The first post

Today, I read AJ's article about improve English writing. He says that to develop English writing, one possible way is to write blog and do not care about mistakes. I just do what he told me to do. As you read these words, you may find a lot of mistakes. However, I believe that I will improve English very fast with this method.
